Nope. They are the biggest advocates on the planet for the every day B2B seller, sales manager and sales leader.
They know what you give up, the choices you make, the sacrifices, the night away from home, the missed ball games, and health and wellness.
Because.... They lived it too!!
Years ago, I beat a drug addiction—only to replace it with food. I gained over 100 lbs.
Then, in 2021, life threw another punch: Type 2 diabetes. That diagnosis scared me. I knew I had to change. So, I hired a trainer, worked out hard, and got my blood sugar under control. But when I looked in the mirror, I still wasn’t where I wanted to be.
In 3 months, I dropped 30 lbs. But the real transformation wasn’t the weight—it was my relationship with food. I learned how to manage my food budget, my energy, and my decisions. That’s the shift that made this sustainable.
And here’s the thing—sales works the same way.
✅ You can’t outwork bad habits.
✅ You need a system, not just effort.
✅ The biggest wins come from small, consistent changes.
I didn’t do this for vanity. I did it because I didn’t want to die at 55. Now, I’m focused on thriving at 55.
The best salespeople? The best leaders? They’re the ones willing to change, adapt, and commit to the process.
Still pushing. Still learning. More to come. Let’s keep going!
In 2011, I hit rock bottom—filed for bankruptcy, stressed out, and treating ice cream and beer like they were food groups. Sales was my game, but my personal life? A mess.
By 2013, it hit me hard. I couldn’t keep up with my kids. Chasing them around left me winded. That wasn’t the dad—or the person—I wanted to be.
So, I made a change. Slowly at first. Cleaned up my diet. Started moving more. Dropped the weight. Over time, I built discipline not just in my body, but in my business, my mindset, and my entire approach to life.
Sales and fitness? Same rules apply.
✅ You can’t outwork a broken process.
✅ Consistency beats intensity.
✅ The best results come from long-term commitment.
Fast-forward to today—I’ve built a business, helped companies drive billions in sales, and stayed in the best shape of my life. Not because it was easy. But because I refused to stay where I was.
The lesson? Your past doesn’t define you—your decisions do.
Still pushing. Still learning. Still leveling up.
